Are you living with chronic discomfort, recurring back pain, or struggling to get back to full activity?

We provide personalised, hands-on osteopathic treatment designed to support your whole health —
not just the part that hurts. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful relief, better movement, and a deeper understanding of your body.

What we do?

Ben Adams treating a patient performing osteopathy on a person's leg in a clinical setting.

As osteopaths, we specialise in helping people manage and move beyond chronic or recurring pain. Whether your pain has lasted for months or keeps coming back over the years, our aim is to support you with hands-on care and a personalised approach that takes your full experience into account.

  • Chronic pain is defined as pain lasting longer than three months. It may follow an injury, surgery, or illness, or appear gradually without a clear cause. It can be constant or come and go, flaring up with stress or fatigue. Common areas affected include the back, neck, joints, and muscles.

Pain can touch every part of life—how you work, sleep, move, and feel. That’s why we don’t just focus on the area that hurts. We look at how your whole body functions, how different areas interact, and what might be contributing to overload or strain. Through careful assessment, gentle treatment, we help you feel better.

Many of our patients come to us after trying other approaches or feeling stuck with recurring issues. Some are managing pain alongside other health challenges, while others want to get back to doing what they love without discomfort. Whatever your story, you are welcome here.

Helping You Move Beyond Pain — With Skilled, Compassionate Osteopathic Care

treating you from head to toe

What types of pain do WE commonly treat?

We work with many people experiencing back and neck pain, joint pain, muscle stiffness, recurring headaches, nerve-related symptoms like sciatica, and pain related to posture or stress.

For those living with chronic or persistent pain, we may also look at how your habits, work setup, past injuries, and stress levels affect your symptoms.

Other common issues include shoulder tension, hip and knee discomfort, and mid-back tightness, particularly in people who sit for long periods. We also see people recovering from injuries who want to rebuild strength and prevent problems from returning.

Whether your pain is sharp or dull, local or widespread, new or long-standing, we take time to explore how it behaves and what might help.

  • We regularly help people dealing with neck pain caused by modern life: desk work, long hours at the wheel, stress, or simply years of habitual tension. The good news? Most neck issues respond well to hands-on treatment and some targeted changes to how you move and manage your body day to day.

  • We help people manage and reduce the frequency and intensity of headaches—especially those linked to tension, posture, and neck problems. If your headaches often come with tight shoulders, a stiff neck, or long hours at a desk, there’s a good chance we can help.

  • We work with people every week who are dealing with hip discomfort. Whether it’s new, longstanding, or flaring up more often than it used to. The good news is that many hip problems can be improved with targeted, hands-on treatment and the right movement strategy.

Ian Murton who is a client and has left a five start google review for Adams Osteopathy

“I have suffered from tight hamstrings for decades and have previously unsuccessfully tried numerous different types of therapy to increase my flexibility. I had only 3 sessions with Ben and the difference in my range of movement has been nothing short of incredible. I would thoroughly recommend Ben as Osteopath.”

“Ben is Fantastic. After a few sessions, the difference is amazing, and it has transformed what I can do.”

Peter Hamer

“I had spent quite a lot of money on Physio over several months which had not helped my Sciatica at all. Then I was recommended to see Ben and almost immediately I had pain relief. Over several more sessions the pain got less and less until I hardly noticed it anymore. Brilliant!”
